Frostbite Open

Eligibility:    This event is open to all Golf Course Members and players maintaining their handicap at the University of Maryland Golf Course.

 

Sign Up:        All players must sign up by 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

                        Entry fees must be paid prior to the morning of the event!!

 

Format:          This event is a two-person scramble with a twist.  Team handicap indexes (before course handicaps are calculated) must equal 12.0 or higher. 
Team handicaps for the tournament will be calculated by adding 35% of the lower player’s handicap to 15% of the higher player’s handicap.

 

The twist will be explained on the morning of the event during announcements.

 

Tees:               Gold tees for men under 60

White tees for men 60-74

Red/White combo for men 75 and older

Red tees for women.

 

Entry Fee:      Includes green fee, range, cart and prizes. 

$25 for Full 7-Day members

$45 for all other member categories

$60 for non-members who maintain a handicap at the UMGC

 

Everyone is encouraged to prepay

 

Tee Times:    Shotgun start at 9 am

 

Prizes:            Closest to the Pin contests

Gift Certificates to the top 25% of teams.
