2026 Opening Day

Saturday, March 28th, 2026

 

Eligibility: Open to UMD members only

 

 

Format: 2-person event. Prior to teeing off, the team must designate one of the players as the A Player and the other as the B Player.

Player A’s score will count as the team score on holes 1-4-7-10-13-16.

Player B’s score will count as the team score on holes 2-5-8-11-14-17.

Both players scores count on the last 6 holes (3-6-9-12-15-18)

Handicap strokes are awarded as they fall on the score card.

Players receive 90% of their handicap.

 

Tees:

Player’s will select their tee during registration. Handicaps will be adjusted based on the slope/rating of the tees selected.

 

Entry Fee: $30 per team (does not include riding fee)

 

Tee Times: Tee times starting at 8:30am

 

Registration deadline: March 25^th at 5pm

 

Prizes: 25% of the field will receive golf shop credit in awards.
