This league is open to Members of the University of Maryland Golf Course who wish to play inUMSGA (University of Maryland Senior Golf Association) . Appplication information below;

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND SENIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION (UMSGA)/ MARYLAND INTERCLUB SENIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION (MISGA) MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION  

To qualify for membership in the UMSGA/MISGA Organization, you must meet the following conditions and stipulations:

1. Must be 50 years of age or older on your last birthday.

2. Be a member in good standing of the University of Maryland Golf Course, or an authorized employee of the golf course.

3. Set up and maintain a handicap through the Global Handicap Index Network (GHIN).  

4. Agree to abide by the rules and regulations as set forth by the By-Laws of the Association and Management of University of Maryland Golf Course.

5. Be tolerant and respectful of others at all times, and be responsible for your actions. Whenever possible, offer constructive suggestions for improving the golfing experience of the group and actively participate in the operation of the Organization.

Some of the duties required of members are simple personal responsibilities:

1. Register for events prior to the stated deadline for each event, and arrive on time for all weekly group and MISGA events you register for.

2. Notify the host club in a timely manner when you have reason to cancel participation in an event you signed up to attend.

3. Abide by the applicable dress code. All golfing events require the use of soft spikes, collared shirts and no denim apparel.

4. You must post your own scores in the handicap system after each round of nine holes or more played during the golfing season (March 15 through November 30 in the mid-Atlantic region).
