Frost Bite Open

Format:          2 PERSON SCRAMBLE (Team Handicap Index has to be 12.0 or higher) – This is a straight two-person scramble.  Both players play from each spot until the ball is holed. 

 

Eligibility:      Must be a member of the golf course or maintain your handicap at UMD 

 

The Twist…..There will be a couple of twists and they will be announced prior to the start of play.

 

Local Rules:  Through the green, you must place the ball within one club length of the shot selected, no closer to the hole. All shots must be played from the same condition as the selected shot (you may not use the club length to move the ball from the rough into the fairway or onto the fringe).  Once on the putting green, both players must putt from the location of the shot selected.

 

Tees:               Gold tees for men 59 and under

                                  White tees for men 60-74

                                  Red tees for men 75 and older

                                  Red/Green combo for men if age and Red/Green playing Handicap >=95 

                                  Green tees for women.

 

Entry Fee:      $60/team – includes golf, prizes and food

 

Tee Times:    8:00 Shotgun

 

Contests:       Closest to the Pin – Hole 8 and 11
