Saturday Formats:
Four-Ball Match Play Rules
Each player plays their own ball and the team score is the lowest net score of the two players.
Players receive 90% of their allotted handicap. The Course Handicap of all four players is then reduced by the Course Handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, who then plays from scratch. Each of the three other players is allowed 100 percent of the difference.
Modified Alternate Shot Match Play Rules
Both partners play a tee shot at every hole from their designated tee. The team then selects the tee shot they wish to continue with and they play it alternately until it is holed. Each players drive must be used at least 3 times during the 9 hole match.
The partner with the lower Course Handicap receives 60 percent of Course Handicap. The partner with the higher Course Handicap receives 40 percent of Course Handicap. The side with the higher Course Handicap receives the difference between the Course Handicap of each side. The lower-handicapped side plays from scratch.
Sunday Formats:
Scramble Match Play Rules
Each player hits a tee shot from their designated tee. The best shot is selected; the other player picks up their shot and both players now play from the selected location. Through the green, all strokes must be played within 1 club length of the selected shot and no closer to the hole. On the putting green, both shots must be played from within six inches of the selected shot, no closer to the hole. All shots must be played form the same condition as the selected shot. Players may not use the club length to move from a bunker into the rough or the rough into the fairway. Teams must use each players drive at least 3 times during the 9 hole match.
The handicap allowance is 35% of the A-Player’s Course Handicap plus 15% of the B-Player’s Course Handicap. The team will receive 50% of this number for the 9 hole match.
Singles Match Play
Individual matches with full handicaps.
The higher-handicapped player receives the full difference in Course Handicap between the two players; the lower-handicapped player plays from scratch.
