The OPEN Challenge

Eligibility:    This event is open to all members and players who keep their handicap at the University of Maryland Golf Course.

 

Sign Up:        Players may sign up the day of the event.

 

Format:          You will choose someone playing in the OPEN as your partner.  You will play in a fourball with your player’s Sunday round.

 

Play will be from the Gold tees for men 59 & Younger, White tees for senior men (60 and over), Red Tees - Seniors 70 & Older, and Green tees for women. 

 

If your age plus handicap equals 95 you may play from the Red/Green Tees

 

 

Players receive 100% of their handicap.  

 

                        Entry Fee:      $10 per player per day.

 

Tee Times:    All players will make their own tee times for this event.

 

Prizes:            25% of the field will receive golf shop credit in awards.
