PGA Challenge

Saturday/Sunday May 18 and/or 19, 2024

 

Eligibility:    This event is open to all members and players who keep their handicap at the University of Maryland Golf Course.

 

Sign Up:        Players may sign up the day of the event.

 

Format:          You will choose someone playing in the Masters as your partner.  You will play in a fourball format with the Tour player you choose.  You do not have to pick your player until Sunday, but your pick must be recorded by the golf shop prior to the player teeing off on Sunday.  

 

Play will be from the:

                                         Gold tees for men 59 & Younger

                                         White tees for senior men (60 - 69)

                                         Red Tees for Men 70 & Over

                                         Red/Green Combination for Men whose age + handicap are 95 or greater

                                         Green Tees for Women  

 

Players receive 100% of their handicap.  

 

                        Entry Fee:      $10 per player per day.

 

Tee Times:    Players will make their own tee times for this event.

 

Prizes:            25% of the field will receive golf shop credit in awards.
